A question that I've been puzzling over in my lil' cranium for quite some time now, a question that puzzles the mind and makes us worry that there's something wrong with us. I have discovered... nothing, nothing that will answer this question. However I have come to the conclusion that there are little lights in the darkness that make life worth experiencing. Love is one of those things, beauty of the world and beauty in the soul. It gives us brief moments of happiness in an otherwise dreadful world full of misery, lies, and hate. Love however, is a dismally precious commodity. It is hard to find and hard to keep and when you lose it, it hurts even more. Heartbreak is a true physical thing ladies and gentlemen, and it afflicts many people of this world. It crushes our soul and sends us even deeper into the darkness. We claw back up by giving others reasons to despair, we laugh at misery and we toss other people down so we can give ourselves a leg up. Human nature my friends, human nature. Nothing we can do. So, why keep on in this horrible cycle where the light is only a small firefly in the dark? Because those fireflies burn brighter than anything the darkness can give. Those brief moments of happiness can sustain a soul and make it bright. A bright soul creates more bright souls and, were we to light up enough, it would purge the darkness forever. Sadly, this will never happen because of the ever changing nature of life and happiness. One person being happy usually means others being sad. It angers me, it makes me sad, and it makes me feel completely hopeless; sometimes. At times like this, I hide in the darkness. I hide in the welcoming blanket of the night that holds no grudges against me. It has no light to burn me with, it has nothing to blind me with. It is safe. Safe within the dark. When I come out though, everything seems brighter in comparison to the black that I have been living in.

I just wanted to let you all have a small insight into my world.

Now, onto other news...

American McGee's Alice, you all remember that right? The game that no one heard of about a Gothic Version of Alice in Wonderland that was TOTALLY AWESOME! Well, a sequel is being made of it and from the concept art (great way to judge video games btw, almost as good as the Cinematic intro) it looks really cool and the same sorta stuff that we expect from American McGee's twisted noodle. I know I'm picking it up once it comes out and I recommend you all do the same! Support some individuality here! Also, a movie is going to be made out of the first one... hopefully it'll be good. If not we can just kick the movie industry for once AGAIN ruining a good idea. COME UP WITH SOME NEW THINGS DAMN IT! I swear I'm going to be watching nothing but subtitled stuff by the end of this year if America keeps spewing out enough shit. *sigh*

On the topic of me getting pissed of at American entertainment, I have run out of good books to read. I am waiting (on baited breath mind you) for the final installment for the Wheel of Time series, but until then I am out of reading material. This disturbs me greatly because books are the one thing that America seems to do well. Granted they can't make good movies based on those books but they do make some decent novels. Sadly, anytime someone GOOD comes along they always seem to die. Has anyone noticed that? Once something good happens to this country it stops about a decade before it can really get things done. Lincoln, George Carlin, Robert Jordan are just a few I could name. I personally believe that the government wants to keep us in a state of perpetual contentment; not overly depressed, but not overjoyed either. IT'S A CONSPIRACY I SAY!!

Anyway, an idea of what to read next would be nice. And NO I am not reading Twilight!

I'm running out of steam here and I'm on empty as is due to exams creeping up like yesterday's lunch so... I bid you all good day!
